Position Details

  • Role: Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN/Per Diem, Part-Time, Full-Time

  • Salary: Range $50/hour- $55.00/hour, Depending on Experience

Your Contributions As an RN at Tacoma Nursing and Rehabilitation, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring residents receive the highest quality of care while supporting their families. You will:

  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to determine residents’ medical needs.

  • Develop, implement, and revise care plans as necessary.

  • Administer medications and treatments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.

  • Document care and assessments with precision and confidentiality.

  • Promote a safe, positive, and person-centered environment.

Core Qualifications

  • Washington State RN license.

  • Leadership skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work in a team, and learn new skills.

  • Physical ability to lift/maneuver up to 30 lbs.

  • Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy Rules.

  • Current CPR certification.

Additional Experience That Sets You Apart

  • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience.

  • Familiarity with behavioral and memory care.

  • Proficiency with Point Click Care (PCC).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic testing to assess health status.

  • Communicate with physicians regarding resident conditions and care plans.

  • Support admissions, discharges, and direct resident care.

  • Educate residents and families on health-related matters.

  • Document incidents, transcribe physician orders, and ensure family notifications.

  • Administer treatments and medications while following care standards.

  • Participate in care planning and supervise certified nursing assistants.

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and organizational standards.
