This position is a Part-Time Nursing Assistant position working 12-hour shifts and 24 hours per week and every other weekend. The position can be cross-trained as needed. The position reports to the Director of In-Patient Services.         

                                                                                   

Qualifications:

  • 6 months’ experience in a health care environment desired
  • Current CPR certification or successful completion upon hire to the position 
  • Computer skills to meet the needs of the position
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Prefer satisfactory completion of a current Nursing Assistant/Aide course

  • Ability to think and work independently and with direction
  • Good teamwork skills
  • Good foundation of clinical skills and knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical abilities must allow for frequent working, stooping, bending, and frequent lifting and moving of patients
