About the Role: Especially Kidz is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator to- Lead the recruitment and onboarding process from candidate interviews through completion of the employee’s 90-day introductory period. Coordinate pre-employment requirements, new-hire orientation, department training, competency validation, and ongoing check-ins to support a successful transition into the facility. Independently plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate facility educational programs based on resident needs, staff development needs, and regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain new-hire orientation, continuing education, and in-service training programs in collaboration with department leaders. Create and manage monthly training calendars, lesson plans, learning objectives, testing, and return demonstrations to assess employee competency. Maintain accurate records of orientation, attendance, training topics, competencies, certifications, and other required personnel-file documentation. Partner with department leaders to identify performance concerns, training opportunities, and additional support needed for new and current employees. Coordinate student clinical rotations and serve as a facility liaison for nursing schools and other healthcare training programs.
