Lakeside Neurologic treats pediatric and adult survivors of traumatic brain injury. Our facility provides treatment ranging from Skilled Nursing Care to Behavioral Health Care. The facility is located on 900 acres just outside of Wauchula, Florida. Qualifications are HS Diploma or GED and Current Certified Medication Technician. Two to five years of previous experience is preferred in this position. Certified Medication Technicians work under the supervision of the Director of Health Education Services and Charge Nurse. Shift: 6:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. (12 hours) Full time and Part time Positions are available. The Certified Medication Technicians duties are: Checking that the medications match the doctors orders. Certified Medication Technician Job Description Job Summary Performs nurse aide duties that provide for the physical and emotional needs of the assigned patients. Essential Functions Adheres to RAH policies and Maryland Nurse Practice Act. Performs work under the supervision of the Supervising Nurse/Delegating Nurse. Performs nurse aides duties, not limited to: personal care of the patient (bathing, d ressing, or hygiene, toileting activities and feeding), transferring and ambulation activities, range of motion exercises, vital signs (temperature, pulse rate, respiration rate, and blood pressure), and post mortem care. Position Summary: The Certified Medication Technician (CMT) is responsible for the safe administration of medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This role requires attentiveness, precision, and the ability to build trusting relationships with residents and their families. Key Responsibilities: Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by a licensed nurse. Accurately document medication administration and resident responses. Observe residents for side effects and report any adverse reactions to the nursing team. Assist with daily living activities as needed, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility support. Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations. Promote a safe and clean environment for residents and staff. Qualifications: Valid Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification in Missouri. High school diploma or GED. Experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting preferred.
