Requirements Must have state Medication Technician License and demonstrate competency in accordance with the state-approved protocol in drug administration Successfully complete medication technician competency review (as supervised by RN / RCD) quarterly CPR certification required or ability to obtain within six months of hire The Medication Technician must complete a state approved training course in drug administration and receive a certificate of satisfactory successful completion.
