Qualifications: 1. Education and Licensure: o Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. o Current, valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Illinois o Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) preferred. o Current CPR, First Aid, and ACLS certifications. 2. Experience: o Experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with a background in pediatric care, primary care, or school-based health services preferred. o Experience diagnosing and treating common illnesses, managing chronic conditions, and providing preventive health care. o Familiarity with the unique healthcare needs of children and adolescents in a school setting. 3. Skills and Abilities: o Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills to evaluate, treat, and manage a range of medical conditions. o Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with students, parents, school staff, and other healthcare providers. o Knowledge of school health regulations, immunization requirements, and confidentiality laws (HIPAA). o Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions in a school-based setting. 4.
