Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the ages and needs of the patient population served. Flexibility to work at multiple clinic locations as needed. Prior experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant in an urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care setting is preferred but new graduates are eligible as well. Qualifications Qualifications: Licensed to provide either advanced practice nursing services in the State of Illinois as issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in accordance with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act OR physician assistant services as issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in accordance with the Illinois Physician Assistant Practice Act of 1987 Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) 2+ years of critical care patient management experience Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hospital environment while maintaining patient-centered focus.
