Assess the orientee’s ability to meet basic performance standards. Facilitate the development of clinical staff in the role of learning new/basic computer skills and information management. Use computer technology to distribute educational content and evaluation tools to staff through a variety of computer applications (i.e. E-mail, Intranet, and Internet). Participate in opportunities for professional development that enhance the level of knowledge and skill related to the profession of Clinical Informatics. Maintain a level of competence required to meet the current and future needs of the organization by keeping abreast in current literature and courses. Demonstrate the core values of the VNA in all aspects of work responsibilities. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree, nursing or other healthcare-related field and / or three years of direct patient care experience combined Clinical knowledge, including Oasis and Coding Certification Advanced experience and/or education in computer applications. Knowledge of Homecare Homebase software a plus. Two years clinical nursing or other healthcare professional experience. Current home health and/or hospice experience, including knowledge of PPS, State, Federal, and JCAHO regulations. Proven experience with IT applications and teaching. Extensive knowledge of home health and/or hospice care operations. Ability to perform complex, detailed design and analytical tasks. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills as well as professional appearance. #indspn
