Maintaining client records showing systematic assessments, planning interventions, and evaluations. Initiating referrals as needed to other health team members. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland for at least two years and hold an unencumbered license Two years of progressive community health, public health or home care experience, two to four years preferred One year experience supervising homemaker-home health aides, preferred One-year experience in geriatric care, preferred Ability to supervise, guide and develop skills and performance of service personnel Ability to exercise independent judgment Education/Skills Requirements: - Registered Nurse degree from an accredited institution. - Willing to undergo a background check A Place at Home Towson - Come Join US

Job Overview: The Clinician is responsible for delivering comprehensive reproductive and sexual health care, including but not limited to the areas of gynecology, sexually transmitted infection, family planning/contraception provision, abortion care, gender-affirming hormone therapy, well-person preventative health services; will be a part of the clinical services team providing care according to PPM protocols and operational processes; and, provide high-quality care delivered in a caring and supportive customer service driven environment. Participate in health center/affiliate efforts to achieve established revenue cycle goals. Conduct centralized follow-up for labs, radiology studies and referrals, as indicated and in accordance with PPM policies and procedures. Serve as a telephone resource for clients or medical information calls. Provide referrals and ensure follow-up. Perform order and interpret diagnostic studies as indicated and permitted by affiliate medical protocols. Consult with Clinical Services Leadership Team as needed to ensure compliance with PPM standards and guidelines. Participate in after-hours emergency call triage per PPM protocol. Provide relevant health instruction to include family planning, nutrition, sexual counseling, and principles of health promotion and maintenance. Complete all responsibilities according to established protocol, policies and standard practices in the areas of customer service, quality assurance and regulatory compliance programs such as HIPAA (Health Information Portability & Accountability Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) and CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Administration) and Title X. Develops staffing guidelines and assignments according to qualifications of staff and business needs of the organization. Participates in the implementation of new services and procedures. Effectively and accurately communicates with patients, providing patient-centered anticipatory guidance and discharge teaching. Reviews patients’ medical history to ensure appropriateness of care. Delivers adjunct and non-pharmaceutical pain management to patients undergoing reproductive health procedures by administering mild and moderate sedation under the direct supervision of a physician. Able to initiate IV access and administer prescribed medications per standing, written, and verbal orders, including IV/moderate sedation. Monitors and reports patient responses so that their health needs are met. Adheres to all policies and procedures related to medication management. Maintains accurate inventory of all controlled substances, clearly documenting dose counts as they are administered or wasted. Performs and documents clinical assessments prior to, during, and following procedures. Uses the information collected via these assessments to guide each patient's care. Performs routine nursing tasks including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, placing IV catheters, performing blood draws, providing patient education and support. Responsible for providing and overseeing care in recovery room following a reproductive health procedure.
