As a CNM, you will: • Manage the health care of women, focusing particularly on pregnancy, during the intrapartum and postpartum period, family planning and the gynecologic needs of women. • Apply surgical skills and knowledge required to act as first assist in the Operating Room. • Collaborates with physicians. support staff, and ancillary departments to provide quality patient care. • Performs History and physical examination in a timely manner. • Maintains role/specialty competencies as well as keeping current with changes in practice, i.e., new equipment, medications, treatment modalities. • Actively participates in departmental peer review, staff meetings, in-service education and quality improvement processes. • Demonstrate professionalism at all times and will uphold standards of practice with Adventist HealthCare Mission and Values.
