RN The GI Endoscopy Center We are currently searching for a FT Registered Nurse to work Monday – Thursday (and one Friday per month) who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. ability to walk and some moderate lifting Visual and auditory acuity for frequent use of computer, telephone, and occasional use of other office equipment Ability to perform occasional overhead and low reaching Physical strength required for equipment needs and patient-care activities Visual and auditory acuity for timely responsiveness and patient-care assessment activities Ability to move quickly in response to patient needs Constant and frequent judgment and response Occasional judgment and response to disasters or emergencies, actual events, or drills Requirements High school graduate or GED certification Graduate of accredited school of nursing RN with active license in appropriate state BLS/ACLS certification IV Certification EKG Certification Endoscopy experience preferred but not required Evidence of leadership qualities Strong ethical and moral character references Must be able to commit to assigned hours as per part time employee policy Language skills adequate for high-level written, interpersonal, and telephone communication.
