Strong customer service skills, previous venipuncture and/or fingerstick experience, ability to use a manual blood pressure cuff, tech savvy and excellent communication skills. Essential Job Functions: Perform and record biometric testing results including, but not limited to height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI (Body Mass Index) Blood testing including fingerstick and / or venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced environment Preparation of specimens for storage or additional processing Set up and break down portable blood draw / biometric station(s) May need to transport supplies to and from health screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs.) Maintains the logs and records for all Laboratory transactions and information in accordance with department and regulatory requirements Must have morning availability (Monday-Friday) for event-based employment May require other duties as assigned Education: Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR one of the following: Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands-on externship completed Over 100 successful fingersticks within the last year or a minimum of 200 successful venipuncture blood draws within the last 6 months Active state specific Phlebotomy certification is required for candidates performing phlebotomy in NV, CA WA, and LA Experience: 1 year of experience of Health Screening or Phlebotomy experience preferred Knowledge and Skills: Have outstanding customer service skills Punctual, responsible, and able to work with limited supervision Possess professional demeanor and appearance Excellent verbal and written communication skills Possess a strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-pace environment Ability to show proof of professional credentialing Must be available to work a PRN, event-driven position Ability to pass a full background check Must have reliable transportation Must be computer / internet savvy Knowledge and skills necessary to collect blood samples from patients. CNA Duties & Responsibilities: Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff. Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support. Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care. Other duties as needed. As a Registered Nurse, your main role will be to deliver nursing care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment. You will be part of a team of dedicated, like-minded individuals whose support and camaraderie build community, and where long-lasting relationships with both associates and residents await. Responsibilities Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status. Observes and reports any significant changes in resident behavior and health to the Resident Care Director, physician, family, RCAs, and Executive Director per state regulations. Directs and supervises the daily work assignments of the Resident Care Assistants Closely mentors, guides, and directs the Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job. Coordinates care needs with community providers via an effective case management process Effectively balances service demands with supporting resident independence. Recognizes and assists in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation (financial and other) and reports to appropriate sources per state regulations. Responds to emergencies and personal emergency response system and knows when to call for backup. Requirements Current state license as an RN and CPR certification Graduate of an approved RN program (per state requirements) Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred. Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable.
