Department Overview The CHO Adult Ambulatory Oncology Infusion Clinic at OHSU primarily serves patients within Hematology Oncology, Medical Oncology and Classical Hematology. We collaborate with KCI Ambulatory Oncology Clinics, Dietitians, Pharmacy, Social Work, Case Management and other members of the multidisciplinary health care team to provide exceptional oncology care for our patients and community. Our teams support programs that include, but are not limited to, the Hepatic Arterial Infusion Pump program, Phase I Clinical Trials, and the OHSU Cellular therapy programs. Required Qualifications Must have 2-years of nursing experience. BSN Graduates: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a program accredited by Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA) 30 days before start date. ADN Graduates: Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program 30 days before the start date. Associate degree Nurses required to enroll in BSN program within 3 years of hire and complete within 5 years of hire Current, unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse License BLS from AHA required. New hires will be enrolled and required to complete during orientation. Department Overview Family Medicine at Scappoose is a primary care Family Medicine clinic and Rural Health Center (RHC). The patient population includes pregnant people, babies, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The patients are generally moderately stable to moderately unstable, with complex medical conditions and SDOH barriers that require medical and nursing interventions. These include, but are not limited to, oral and injectable medications, foot care, telephone and in-clinic triage, care coordination, health education, complex wound care, pain management, and behavioral and/or crisis management. Function/Duties of Position This position will cross-train to support additional primary care clinics within the Department of Family Medicine and the Division of Internal Medicine. Responsibilities include remote phone triage, MyChart message management, results review and follow-up, transitions of care, and other duties aligned with operational needs to support clinic workflows and the RN team. Nurses perform patient visits, telephone triage and advice, and manage an in-basket workload in EPIC where pts. are reviewed for Care Management, Care Coordination, and follow up for hospital and ED discharges.
