This care is provided to support optimal health of children within the context of their family, community, and environmental setting. The Children's Medical Group (CMG) APP Fellowship is an intensive 6-month educational training opportunity for a licensed graduated practitioner without prior independent APP clinical experience. The fellowship is an innovative curriculum composed of in-person didactics, simulation, proctored procedures and mentored clinical rotations and is designed to the specific competencies and expectations relevant to the CMG APP provider role described above. As part of the CMG APP fellowship, the APP will obtain a certificate in lactation or mental health. Essential Functions - Perform comprehensive histories and physical exams for well and acute visits, identifies normal and abnormal findings, including physical, cognitive and psychosocial status. - Order, perform, and interpret screening and diagnostic procedures and tests, and appropriately communicates and documents information. - Develop pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical treatment plans. - Monitor effectiveness of plan of care.. - Educate patients on disease and treatment plans.
