Registered Nurse - ECC Wharton - Full Time - Nights

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse at Wharton Campus is responsible for professional nursing care and related assistance to patients on an assigned unit.  The staff nurse provides direction to licensed vocational nurses and non-professional nursing personnel in providing direct patient care.  The staff nurse supports the medical care of patients under the direction of the Medical Staff pursuant to the objectives of the hospital.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

One year acute care clinical nursing experience OR equivalent EMT/Paramedic experience required. Experience in critical care preferred.

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse. Certified in Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association. Advance Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advance Life Support (or ENPC) required within 6 months of employment.  TNCC within 18 months of employment. Employees must remain current in these certifications.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

Demonstrated leadership ability and critical thinking skills required.  Excellent communication skills.  Computer skills.

Attends and participates in the unit activities such as therapy groups, family meetings as appropriate, staffing, unit meetings, etc. · Provides education/explanation to clients, families, and co-workers regarding medication usage/maintenance, common side effects, client's rights, as well as other topics necessary for optimal client care. · Monitors client acuity, census, staffing needs, and makes arrangements for coverage as needed, following established guidelines. · Assures thorough, accurate documentation is completed for all clients on each shift and client assignment sheets are completed daily and tasks are carried out as assigned. · Gives thorough report to oncoming staff, supervisors, and physician. · Provides coverage in emergency services as needed. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: · Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing. · One or more years’ nursing experience within clinical area of service provided by facility preferred. · Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment preferred. Nurse Resident - RN (July 2026) - Full Time

Responsibilities A nurse resident is an entry level professional nurse who will demonstrate the ability to continuously progress professionally and clinically in a patient care setting. The nurse resident will rotate though specified hospital units as determined by CNO and the AVP during the course of the residency (9-12 week period) and receive coaching from the education team as well as the unit preceptors. OR RN Clinical Coordinator, Fort Bend Surgery Center - Full Time - Days

Responsibilities Under the general supervision of the Clinical Director/Manager of the Perioperative Unit, the Clinical Coordinator provides care of patients within the OR Department.
