Daily responsibilities include: Conducting new patient consultations, reviewing medical histories, and performing physical assessments. Prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and related medications. Job Description Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for an outpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner working with military families at the Naval Medical Center San Diego in California. Position Highlights: Services shall be provided Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holiday and weekends, between the hours of 0700 and 1530 hours. Shifts will normally be scheduled for an 8.5 to 9 hour period, to include an uncompensated 30 to 60 minute lunch break, respectively. In no instance will the HCW be required to provide services in excess of 80 hours per two-week period. Will work in San Diego area at one of sever potential locations (not in a rotation, but it might be at a Branch Clinic outside of the Balboa Hospital proper) Must be skilled in general outpatient psychiatry, including diagnostic evaluations, pharmacotherapy, and psychotherapy.
