Assesses and obtain a patients basic health status, records, and related data according to standard procedure and needs of patient and their families. 2. Administers medications, performs treatment as ordered , and operates equipment according to policy and procedure. 3. Performs venipuncture using aseptic technique, 12 lead EKGs, and administers vaccinations. 4. Participates i n implementation and evaluation of care plan including long and short-term goals, nursing actions , and teaching. 5. Documents patient care according to standard procedure. Records and reports observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in patient condition to Provider and/or R N and assists in analyzing and interpreting patient data. 6.Assists provider with treatments, procedures, and special tests as required or directed. 7. Communicates with patients via electronic, telephonic, and in person, per scope of practice. 8. Collaborates with other health care providers to ensure quality and continuity of care. 9. Maintains a safe environment. Standard Staffing Level Responsibilities: 1. Complies with established departmental policies, procedures . 2. Attends variety of meetings, conferences, seminars as required or directed. 3. Participates in use of Quality Improvement in daily operations. 4.
