Our Caregivers:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
  • Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
  • Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)

If you are someone with:

  • Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
  • CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
  • Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday. Home Care Aide Job Description Description Homecare Aides provide service to individuals in their own homes and communities, who need assistance caring for themselves as a result of old age, sickness, disability and/or other inflictions. Personal Care may include assistance with the activities of daily living, housecleaning, laundry, meal preparation, transportation, companionship, respite and advice on such things as nutrition, cleanliness and household activities. Homecare Aides are responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies and industry standards.
