Live In Caregiver Salary:

$255.45/day for 3 day long live ins

$280.00/day for 4 day long live ins

Caregiver Qualifications: 

  • Already living in the Westchester/Bronx area

  • 2 years of professional experience

  • HHA/PCA/CNA certified (MUST be current)

  • Authorized to work in the US, or have a work permit

  • Reliable Transportation

  • Covid vaccinated.

  • 18+ years of age

  • Conversationally fluent in English

  • Valid Driver's License (preferred)

Daily activities performed (but are not limited to):

  • Personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene)

  • Meal preparation

  • Housekeeping (dishes, vacuuming, laundry, changing linens, etc.)

  • Ambulation/transfers

  • Feeding

  • Medication reminders

  • Accompany clients to appointments

  • Maintaining client reports

Position Title: Caregiver Position Overview: A Place at Home - Fairfield South is seeking candidates who can help care for Spanish-speaking seniors. Candidates must be conversational in Spanish to ensure they can communicate with the clients. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a licensed member of the home care team. The CNA is responsible for the basic daily care of the client. CNAs will help maintain care records for the client and communicate with other members of the care team. Essential Functions: To enable patients to stay in their homes by monitoring and recording the client’s physical and mental condition. To maintain a safe, secure and healthy client environment by following necessary standards and procedures. To provide client support and personal services. To protect the home health care company by adhering to professional standards, home care policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements. To follow HIPAA guidelines regarding all client PHI. Responsibility of a CNA: Monitors client condition by observing physical and mental conditions, intake/output, and reports any changes to the Administrator and or Alternate Administrator. Provides personal services such as bathing, dressing and grooming. Teaches clients how to use cane or walker, special utensils to eat, techniques and equipment for personal hygiene.
