Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Free-Standing Emergency Department located at Baptist Nassau Crossing. This is a Full-Time Nights shift opportunity with a commitment of 36 hours per week

As a Registered Nurse, you will be Responsible for: 

  • Providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition 
  • Embracing and upholding the hospital mission statement;
  • Educating patients and families to their disease process and plan of care;
  • Interacting with physicians and other departments within the hospital;
  • Coordinating care provided by ancillary services;
  • Acting as the patient advocate;
  • Participating in staff meetings and other unit activities.

Drive the implementation of patient care plans, pro-actively monitoring status and documenting progress to ensure optimal outcomes. Execute physician and nursing orders with precision, serving as a critical link in the clinical decision-making process. Lead the discharge planning process in collaboration with the health-care team to ensure a safe and successful transition for every patient. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
