Buckingham, Virginia is a beautiful rural community set in the Blue Ridge mountains. CMG is also home to the Lynchburg Family Medicine Residency, a training program for future family physicians, many of whom hold academic appointments with institutions like UVA, VCU, VCOM, and Liberty University.

Responsibilities

Monday-Friday, 8am – 5pm
Patient volume expectation of 18 patients/day once fully ramped up
Position will provide care for patients across the life span. Performs health assessments, follow-up exams for acute & chronic disease management, order & interpret diagnostic tests, medication management
Our ideal candidate will be an FNP with primary care experience treating all ages
New grads with a passion for learning & growing will also be considered

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, and Masters of Science Degree in Nursing (MSN)
Current licensure by the Virginia State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority
Maintains BLS and ACLS Certifications
Hold a current, active license as a registered nurse in Virginia or hold a current multistate licensure privilege as a registered nurse
