What you will do as a CNA/Home Health Aide 
You will be matched with clients to provide various personal care and homemaker activities providing for the personal needs and comfort of clients in their homes. These include (but are not limited to): 

  • Personal hygiene and grooming 

  • Ambulation/Transfers 

  • Prepare meals and snacks 

  • Medication reminders 

  • Incontinence care 

  • Light housekeeping 

  • Companionship 

  • Transportation 

 

What we look for in a CNA/Home Health Aide 

  • CNA certification or successfully complete a written Home Health Aide Competency and Skills Evaluation at orientation 

  • Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of your clients and their families 

  • Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain. 
  • Have a valid driver’s license and use of an insured automobile for work 

  • Be able to pass a level 2 background check 

  • Be able to pass a comprehensive drug screen 

  • 18 years of age or older 

  • Highschool diploma or GED 

  • Senior care experience; either professionally or personally 

 

Working Environment as a CNA/Home Health Aide 
Primarily works in client’s place of residence, travel required. Shift times and days may vary.

Shower Team CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Position Summary The Shower Team CNA is responsible for providing safe, respectful, and thorough bathing and personal hygiene care to residents or patients. They ensure comfort, dignity, and privacy during all hygiene activities while following facility policies, infection-control standards, and individual care plans. This role focuses primarily on showering and bathing services as part of the daily care routine. Saturday and Sunday 7am-3pm Key Responsibilities Bathing & Hygiene Care: Provide scheduled showers or baths to residents, following individual care plans and preferences. Assist with related hygiene tasks such as shampooing hair, nail care, shaving, oral care, and skin care. Ensure water temperature, equipment, and environment meet safety and comfort standards. Resident Safety & Comfort: Use proper transfer techniques and assistive devices to safely move residents to and from shower areas. Assist in the planning, organizing and directing of the Activity Department fund raising events. Maintain detailed records of activity programs and participation of individual residents, identifying progress toward established care plan goals. Participate in resident care planning by identifying the activity needs of residents in accordance with the medical assessment. Develop and distribute a monthly calendar of events. Provide a copy of the calendar in each resident’s room, and at least one large calendar prominently displayed in the facility. Maintain a pictorial scrapbook of activities and events sponsored by the facility during the year. Develop and maintain an active volunteer program through marketing, development, support, and organization. Encourage participation by residents, family members, staff, visitors, community groups and individuals. Assign and train volunteers and maintain documentation of volunteer hours. Reward volunteers for service annually and at other special events. Train groups of volunteers and students in techniques of recreational therapy. Prepare progress notes for medical staff reflecting residents’ reactions and evidence of progress or regression.
