We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee the nursing department and ensure compliance with all infection control protocols and regulations.

ADON Essential Job Functions:

This facility expects their employees to promote an atmosphere of teamwork with other employees and hospitality and comfort for its residents. Therefore, the following list of duties is not all-inclusive:

Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department to ensure the highest quality of care for residents.
Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in infection prevention and control practices.
Provide education and training to nursing staff on infection control protocols and best practices.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate infection control efforts and promote a culture of safety throughout the facility.
Monitor infection control data and trends, and implement strategies to reduce the risk of healthcare-associated infections.
Serve as a liaison with local health departments and regulatory agencies regarding infection control matters.

ADON Qualifications:

Current RN license in the state of Florida.
Experience in nursing leadership/infection control preferred.
