TheNeuoscience/Chest Pain Coordinator is a Registered Nurse who provides support and assists in the delivery of quality patient care. The primary responsibility is continuum of stroke care for neurological and neurosurgical patients.The Neuroscience Coordinator will ensure continuity between clinical practice and standards of care to patients with neurological disorders.The Chest Pain coordinator will provide acontiuumof care for the cardiac patient This individual works collaboratively with physicians,nurseand case managers andother healthcare disciplinesutilizinga team approach. This position will serve as a leader, rolemodeland mentor tofacilitateeach professional providing care to neuroscience,spineand chest pain patients. This individual will report directly to the COO as an in-house clinical consultantregardingexcellence in clinical care. The coordinator willbe responsible formeeting Joint Commission standardscomplying withcorporate policy and procedure.The coordinator hasresponsibiltyfor the development and execution of growth strategies for the service lines.Responsible for performance improvement, P&P, physician relations, program development; develops and implements communication, education, and community outreach strategies. 

What qualifications you will need:

  • 4 year Bachelor Degree 
  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing BSN preferred
  • More than 5 years of experience 
  • Minimum of 3 years progressive management experience
  • Holds current licensure in the State of Florida, as a Regisrtered Nurse
