💼 Primary Responsibilities:

  • Triage and assess patient concerns
  • Provide care coordination across cardiology services
  • Assist with Exercise Stress Tests and Tilt Table Tests
  • Perform EKGs and manage heart monitoring equipment
  • Start IVs for diagnostic testing
  • Educate patients on cardiac conditions, medications, and treatment plans
  • Occasionally assist with patient rooming in clinic

Requirements:

  • Current Colorado RN license or ability to obtain.
  • BLS and ACLS Certifications through the American Heart Association.
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year RN work experience.
  • Previous RN Ambulatory Care experience in a Cardiology Clinic or Med Surg or CCU experience are all a plus.
  • Experience working with an EMR, Athena is also a plus.

SALARY RANGE

  • ‎$33.99 - $49.98/hour (BSN) 
  • $32.68 - $48.06/hour (ADN) 
  • Valley View recognizes a 4% pay difference for RN ADN, BSN, MSN.
  • Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
