Schedule is typically set 6 weeks in advance
Start Time: 6:45–7:00 AM
End Time: Usually wraps up around 5:00–5:30 PM

We are actively hiring for a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Responsibilities:

Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas.
Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Requirements:

High School Graduate or equivalent.
Graduate of a recognized and accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
Prior Experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.

Participates in the evaluation of new supplies, equipment and instruments. Provides a safe and therapeutic environment for patients: Assists in transfer and positioning of patients. Demonstrates knowledge and correct utilization of all phases of sterilization: Chooses correct method and time frame for sterilization of equipment. Utilizes correct indicators for methods chosen. Follows the plan of care developed by the RN for the surgical patient: Verifies allergies, patient identity and surgical site as per policy. Job Summary and Qualifications As a Surgical Technologist you are responsible for assisting with the delivery of quality surgical care. You will be responsible for coordinating with the circulating perioperative nurse during surgical procedures. You are responsible for all major surgical specialty areas; including gathering and preparing sterile supplies, equipment, preparing/maintaining the sterile field.
