Job Summary:

  • Responsible for assisting in the care of patients under the direction of a licensed nurse.
  • Works in controlled patient care situations and performs established procedures for individuals or groups of patients.
  • Patients need care 24/7 and facility employees must be available to provide that care.
  • Employees are to care for patients regardless of the patient’s personal characteristics.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year experience as a C.N.A. preferred.
  • NM Nurse Aide Certification.
  • Current BLS Certification or obtain per policy upon hire; maintain current BLS Certification.
