Certified Surgical Tech at Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington: Under the general supervision of the OR Coordinator/ Director of Surgical Services, and the direct supervision of a Lead CST, the Scrub Tech is responsible for providing surgical scrub on all types of minor and major surgical procedures dependent on individual competence. Qualifications Education: High school graduate or equivalent License: Certification in OR Technology required. Current certification in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation Required Experience: Previous clinical experience in Operating Room environment desired. At least 1-2 years' experience working as a Surgical Tech hospital or ambulatory center. Surgical Technologist - Main OR - PRN

Location: Parkland: 3rd FLR BLK 400 PRN - Rotating Shifts - Main OR Primary Purpose Prepares operating rooms for surgery, provides technical services, assists during routine to complex surgeries, and maintains documentation to ensure activities meet OR, and PHHS requirements. MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS Education: Requirements for Practicing Surgical Technology in the State of Texas (per Texas H.B. 643-Chapter 259): Education/Certification: Has successfully completed an accredited educational program for surgical Technologist and holds and maintains certification as a surgical technologist by: a) the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or its successor; b) the National Center for Competency Testing or its successor; c) another surgical technologist certification program approved by the department; OR Has completed an appropriate training program for surgical technology in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service. Experience: Main OR - Must have two years of experience in an operating room/healthcare environment or demonstrated proficiency in 6 services.
