Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.   • Role: Registered Nurse – Cardiac Rehab

  • Status: PRN

  • Schedule: Days

  • Department: Cardiac Rehabilitation

We’re looking for a compassionate, motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Rehab team. If you love helping patients regain strength and confidence after cardiac events — and you value work-life balance — this is the perfect fit.

You’ll coordinate individualized care for cardiac rehab patients while partnering with an interdisciplinary team. You’ll ensure patient safety, uphold confidentiality, and provide care aligned with Mercy’s mission and service standards.

šŸŽ“ Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program

Licensure

  • Current RN license in the state of hire (or compact license, as applicable)

  • Must meet all state board of nursing requirements

Experience

  • Cardiac or Telemetry nursing experience required

Physical Demands

  • Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs regularly

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, twist, and squat throughout the shift

Certifications

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) — Required (or obtained within 30 days of hire)

  • Additional certifications may be required or obtained within department timeframe, such as:

    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

    • Other unit‑specific certifications as needed
