Advanced Practice Provider - Pediatric Hospital Medicine

The Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine Service serves pediatric patients with acute care needs in the new free-standing Children’s Tower at Children’s Hospital of Richmond. CHoR provides tertiary and quaternary care to Richmond and beyond as a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center, Pediatric Burn Center, and Level 1 Children’s Surgery Center. The PHM Team is comprised of Pediatric Hospitalists and Advanced Practice Providers providing care for children with a variety of medical or surgical needs. The APPs typically work 12-hour rotating shifts, which facilitates a team approach to providing best practices. There are many opportunities to learn and grow in an academic setting through patient care, passionate colleagues, and didactic sessions led by faculty and fellows. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP- NP, PA) provides high-quality medical and/or surgical patient care.
