Documents all medical evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatments, outcomes, education, referrals, and consultations consistent with organizational standards in the electronic health record (EHR). Participates in the performance improvement processes to meet the quality of care and service standards. Participate in and support accreditation, compliance, and regulatory activities of the organization. Provide agreed upon coverage to care for patients in the appropriate settings (ex. ambulatory office and/or hospital) during business hours and evening/weekends, as mutually agreed upon and per medical staff bylaws. All other duties as assigned within the scope and range of job responsibilities. Required Education, Credential(s) and Experience: Education: Master's degree; Nurse Practitioner Credential(s): Basic Life Support Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Registered Nurse Nurse Practitioner NP - CSR (if required by defined job duties); Or compact state. Experience: Required: Two years general surgery experience and post-operative management of the surgical patient. May consider new graduate with appropriate rotations. Preferred: Three (3) years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner in specific area of practice.
