We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA) to serve as a key support and coordination lead for our Behavioral Health Program. This role is ideal for someone who not only excels in traditional clinical and clerical MA responsibilities, but also demonstrates strong leadership, care coordination, and relationship-building skills. In this position, the MA will support behavioral health providers while helping to ensure seamless care delivery across in-person and telehealth services. The role includes coordinating patient care, managing provider schedules, and fostering effective collaboration with external telehealth partners. The MA will play a critical role in supporting continuity of care, enhancing patient access, and contributing to positive patient outcomes

Requirements

 

  • Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician program, or hold a current Certified Nurse Aide certification in the state of Idaho.
  • Minimum experience as required for the position and/or specific area(s) of assignment.
  • Strong organizational and care coordination skills, with the ability to manage schedules and multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written comprehension/expression.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing patient and program needs.
  • Experience or interest in behavioral health or care coordination strongly preferred.
  • Ability to exhibit behaviors consistent with organizational values (efficiency, safety, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and respect).
  • Previous experience supporting behavioral health or telehealth services, preferred.
  • Experience with care coordination, referral management, or program support.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling systems.
  • Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with principles for service excellence.
