Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm CST with flex scheduling option in the future

Primary Responsibilities
- Review and coordination of Minor Home Modification (MHM) and Vehicle Modifications for the HCBS Waiver Service Coordinators
- Review requests for benefit, including health and safety concerns
- Coordinate and conduct interdisciplinary meetings with service coordination, management and medical directors as needed for review
- Work collaboratively with vendors to coordinate initiation of MHM, progress and completion
- Work collaboratively with SC to facilitate review and completion of MHM/Vehicle Mod
- Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems within and outside own team
- Develops, translates and executes strategies or functional/operational objectives for UnitedHealthcare including medical management, financial accountability, customer and provider satisfaction, and quality improvement in accordance with state guidelines
- Works autonomously to identify issues, craft action plans and implement changes to positively impact business function
- Tracks and trends data, identifying opportunities for improvement and communicating effectiveness
- Identifies training opportunities and deficiencies and works closely with training team
- Identifies operational efficiencies to enhance operations and standardize best practices across the organization
- Confirms team compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Provides oversight and direction of MHM clinical admin staff
- Facilitates and strengthens relationships with providers within UHC network and identifies new providers to include in network
- This position will be a work at home position working Monday - Friday (days) with some flexibility in hours
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of Texas
- 2+ years of experience working within the community health setting or in a health care role
- 2+ years of experience working in Medicaid and HCBS Star Plus Waiver program
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- High-speed internet at residence
- Must reside in the state of Texas
- Understanding of the Minor Home Modification and ISP development process
- Computer/typing proficiency to enter/retrieve data in electronic clinical records; experience with email, internet research, use of online calendars and other software application
- Knowledge of the principles of most integrated settings, including federal and State requirements like the federal home and community-based settings regulations
- Problem solving skills; the ability to systematically analyze problems, draw relevant conclusions and devise appropriate courses of action
- Ability to communicate complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret complex information from others
