  • Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards including but not limited to:

  • Engage in ongoing professional development.
  • Lead and coordinate teams, appropriately delegate, coordinate care and collaborate with others as equal members of the inter-professional care team to integrate nursing knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of a nurse anesthesia education program, accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA) Council of Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs. Successfully passed the national certifying examination within one year of completion of required didactic and clinical requirements.

Experience: No experience required.

License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required:

  • Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required upon hire.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days upon hire.
  • Active RN and APRN license in State of Oklahoma with prescriptive authority.
  • NBCRNA certification.
  • Additional Certification Required.

Provides safe and quality anesthesia within the scope of practice and maintains clinical privileges as approved by the Medical Staff Office. Core Essential Functions: Regular, consistent, on-site, and timely attendance. Patient Assessments/Patient Care Will make a pre-operative and post-operative assessment of the patient scheduled for surgery and will document their findings on the anesthesia record.
