We are seeking registered nurses interested in joining the MaineHealth Outpatient IV Therapy team. The desired Registered Nurses for this position will have 2+ years of clinical experience preferably in a hospital setting. Although not required, OCN certification and oncology experience are a plus.

This position requires the flexibility to occasionally float between our 4 locations (Scarborough, South Portland,Biddefordand Sanford, Maine) from the home base. Offices are open Monday-Friday from 7:45 am-4:30 pm. There is a weekend rotation with each RN covering Saturday and Sunday about every 2 months.

Summary

The Registered Nurse II – Ambulatory role uses professional nursing processes to assess the needs of patients and families calling or presenting for care in the physician office and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Experience: One year of RN experience required. Two years of relevant experience preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse I - Ambulatory Care role.
