This is a full time Registered Nurse 2 vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience.

For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 Sign-on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!

The Triage Registered Nurse plays an essential role in supporting timely, compassionate, and safe patient care within our practice. This position is primarily responsible for telephone-based clinical triage, using sound nursing judgment to assess patient needs, provide education, and determine the appropriate level of care. The RN manages a high volume of incoming calls, including symptom-based questions, urgent concerns, and routine clinical inquiries. This role collaborates closely with providers and care teams to ensure accurate communication, appropriate escalation, and effective coordination of follow-up care. The Triage RN also contributes to office operations by supporting general clinical workflows and promoting a positive patient experience.

This position is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving over the phone, and can balance efficiency with compassionate communication.

Summary

MaineHealth OrthopedicsBrunswickis seeking a full time Registered Nurse. The RN uses professional nursing processes to assess the needs of patients and families calling or presenting for care in the physician office and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Experience: One year of RN experience required. Two years of relevant experience preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse I - Ambulatory Care role.
