JOB TITLE : RN OR Circulator (Full-Time, 30 hours per week) This role is a full-time, 30 hour per week position (Monday-Friday) and is eligible for full-time benefits. Please note that the facility is typically closed one Friday each month. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : The delivery of patient care through the framework of the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis and patient outcome) in the preoperative, interoperative and postoperative phase of the surgical patient. SUPERVISION RECEIVED : Supervisor of Clinical Services EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current Registered Nurse License Experience in the OR, sterile technique and universal precautions. ASC experience preferred. Current American Heart Assn. BLS required Ability to achieve PALS & ACLS certification within 90 days of employment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES : Experience in the Operating Room, Endoscopy center or other critical care nursing environment preferred. CPR certification valid upon employment and Ability to achieve PALS & ACLS certification within 90 days of employment. Graduate of approved school of Registered Nursing with current and valid licensure with Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing Knowledge of State, Federal and Accrediting Body regulations and standards related to healthcare.
