  • Pay Range: $30-$40 per visit

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for our Private Duty Care and VA departments to cover In-Home visits and to work with our Healthy Children & Youth program performing assessments and reassessments. This position will be responsible for aide oversight visits and routine nursing visits; including medication set ups and maintaining the plane of care. In this RN role, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our clients by providing high-quality care and support in the comfort of their own home. These services are either privately paid, funded by a Long-Term Care Insurance policy, or the VA.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic patient care: Taking Vitals, Weekly medication Management per Physicians orders, Monthly Diabetic Nails, Monthly Skin Monitoring and Bi Yearly General Health Assessments
  • Opens new cases & obtains all related consents, documentation & deposits in accordance with company policy
  • Observes, records & reports reaction to treatment & any changes in client's condition to appropriate personnel and/or physician
  • May supervise In Home Aides for Advance Personal Care (APC) Services
  • Provide instruction/ Education on Medication when needed.
  • Follow state approved care plan.
  • Attend quarterly Nurse Meetings
  • Good time management, detail oriented and self-starter

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse License in the state of KS
  • In Home experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and self-management skills
  • Strong and compassionate customer service skills
  • Valid driver’s license
