Responsibilities

Triage phone calls from patients while NP/MD are in clinic. Consult with MD/NP throughout the day regarding patient calls, patient concerns, and symptom management interventions.
Counsel patients having post-operative problems or experiencing toxicities or side effects from chemotherapy or radiation. Recommend symptom management according to established guidelines.
Obtains histories from new patients and assists with patient/family care needs as needed.
