How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • The Nurse Residency program is specifically designed for new Graduates and RNs with less than six months of experience in the Acute Care setting. 
  • Lead the coordination of care by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure every patient receives a seamless, well-rounded healing experience.
  • Advocate for patient safety through continuous monitoring and clear communication of clinical changes, ensuring the right interventions happen at the right time.
  • Empower patients and families by translating complex medical procedures into clear, understandable guidance, preparing them with the confidence to manage their health at home.
  • Master clinical excellence by performing comprehensive physical assessments and diagnostic tests that form the foundation of every patient’s personalized treatment plan.
  • Support the transition to recovery by managing the end-to-end patient journey, from the initial admission assessment to the final discharge or transfer.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • Qualifying candidates should graduate by August 2026.
