Caregiver — North County San Diego

Comfort Keepers is growing its team to serve seniors in Escondido, Vista, Oceanside, Carlsbad, San Marcos, and surrounding North County communities. If you're based in the area and want caregiving work close to home, we want to meet you.

To be considered, you'll need a valid California driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check. Prior caregiving experience is preferred. A CNA or HHA certification will qualify you for our higher pay tiers.

We match North County caregivers with North County clients — so you spend less time on the freeway and more time making a difference.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide compassionate, dependable in-home care for seniors in North County

    • Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility

    • Offer medication reminders and support daily routines

    • Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping

    • Provide genuine companionship and social engagement

    • Assist with transportation to local appointments and errands

    • Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team

REQUIREMENTS:

    • Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation

    • Ability to work within the North County service area

    • Ability to pass a background check

    • Authorized to work in the United States

    • Integrity, reliability, and genuine compassion for seniors

Preferred:

    • 1–3 years of professional caregiving experience

    • CNA, HHA, or home health aide certification (qualifies for higher pay)

    • Bilingual English/Spanish (a strong advantage in North County)

    • Experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, or Parkinson's care

    • CPR/First Aid certification
