WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Full-time day shift openings, 6:30-3pm or 6:30-5pm shift available.
We are closed on weekends and holidays. Minimal call shifts required

QUALIFICATIONS

A team-oriented RN willing to be flexible and dynamic in meeting patient care needs.
Associate degree from an accredited program is required, BSN desirable
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state or as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
Experienced OR Ortho Nurses required

Their main responsibility is to help people live as comfortably and independently as possible and with the least amount of pain, in their final days. One of the largest parts of being a Hospice Nurse involves helping patients, and their families, feel more comfortable about death and providing them with the emotional support they need. Practices nursing according to Franciscan Alliance and nursing division's philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations. Collaborates with patients and their families, as well as members of a multidisciplinary team, to ensure optimal patient outcomes and enhancement of the patient experience.
