Job Responsibilities

  • Assist residents to meet their daily needs, including personal care and meal assistance

  • Respond to resident calls and needs promptly with a smile and positive attitude

  • Report changes in condition to nursing staff, ensure proper documentation as needed

  • Serve as an advocate for your residents and a leader for your team

  • Be knowledgeable in the survey process and best practices

  • Travel with resident to doctor appointments

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant license from the State of Iowa

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0.01 Work Shift: All Work Shifts (United States of America) Summary of Primary Function/General Purpose of Position Provides direct patient care under the guidance of the Registered Nurse or designated health care professional in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and within the policies, procedures, guidelines of Bon Secours Mercy Health. Essential Job Functions Provides basic patient care to include, but not limited to, care and comfort, record vital signs, personal care and hygiene, and mobility, including unit based specialty duties.
