Key Responsibilities

  • Lead with Excellence: Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to ensure high-quality care.

  • Daily Oversight: Conduct rounds to ensure adherence to nursing standards and protocols.

  • Resident Care: Deliver compassionate, person-centered care and promptly address resident concerns.

  • Compliance and Surveys: Participate in facility surveys to meet regulatory standards.

  • Team Leadership: Support and mentor nursing staff, fostering collaboration and continuous learning.

  • Education & Training: Facilitate in-service training to keep staff updated on best practices.

  • Incident Reporting: Investigate, document, and follow up on incidents.

  • Care Planning: Work with interdisciplinary teams to develop and review individualized care plans.

  • Emergency Response: Lead emergency situations, ensuring resident and staff safety.

  • Quality Assurance: Contribute to initiatives that improve the overall care experience.

Qualifications

  • Valid RN License in the State of New Jersey

  • Nursing home or long-term care experience preferred

  • Strong commitment to compassionate, high-quality care and professionalism
