Major Responsibilities -Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Supervises staff and oversees patient care in accordance with standards of care and practice and applicable state/federal regulations.

  • Follows established facility policies and procedures while providing and coordinating resident care with other facility personnel.

  • Supervises Certified Nursing Assistants during shift including assigning and distributing work, performance management, training new staff, and ensuring work is being performed according to facility standards.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications -Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN.

  • Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities preferred.

  • You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.

Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements: Current license to practice nursing in Florida (or eligible to receive or renew). Current CPR or BLS certification. Five (5) years of clinical experience in psychiatric nursing, including Charge Nurse experience preferred. Must have thorough working knowledge of Hospital, Nursing, and Management of Human Resources policies and procedures, with demonstrated ability to use skills in clinical and managerial situations. Physical Requirements: Physical agility to manage patients with crisis prevention interventions. Push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds. Intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending and stooping. Additional Requirements : Must be able to read, understand, and follow: policies, procedures, and written treatment plans.
