Duties

  • Deliver person-centered dementia care that provides safety, dignity and meaningful engagement

  • Assist clients with housekeeping, meal preparation, and verbal medication reminders

  • Aid clients in their personal care needs including showering, dressing, and toileting.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care.

  • Proficiency in cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.

  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and information handling.

  • Previous experience in caregiving is preferred but not required.

The patient requires help with personal care, incontinence care, companionship, repositioning to prevent bedsores, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).
