Coordinates obtaining and releasing equipment/supplies to other facilities. Complies with established chain of command for work related problems. Develops, evaluates, and adjusts staffing based upon patient care needs. Communicates with unit staff to optimize inter-departmental staffing. Facilitates ‘real time’ interventions with identified Risk Events, including (if appropriate) but not limited to completion of event reports, notification of patient Safety Hotline, timely interview of staff, completion of identified assessment tools.
