Job Summary:

At Palmetto Care Center, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a full-time basis. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. If you are a dedicated and empathetic healthcare professional with excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct resident care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), vital signs, and mobility

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans with the nursing team

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care

  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members

  • Participate in resident care conferences and care planning meetings

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions

Requirements:

  • Current CNA certification in the state of Florida

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish

  • Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed

  • Ability to work weekends from 3pm to 11pm

  • Ability to pass a drug test
