Position Summary

As a Charge Nurse (RN or LPN), you will oversee nursing care on your assigned unit, ensuring safe, high-quality care for residents while supporting CNAs and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. You’ll play a key leadership role in daily operations and resident outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide and oversee direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders and care plans

  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely

  • Monitor, document, and report changes in resident condition

  • Supervise and support nursing assistants

  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations

  • Participate in care conferences, rounds, admissions, and discharges

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation


Qualifications

  • Active RN or LPN license in the state of Missouri

  • Current BLS/CPR certification

  • Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required

  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills

  • New graduates encouraged to apply
