Qualifications & Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Completion of a state‑approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
Basic knowledge of medical terminology
Strong patience, empathy, and compassion
Excellent communication and observation skills
Basic computer and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities
As a Restorative CNA, you will:
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Serve meals and assist residents with eating and drinking as needed
Reposition and turn bedridden residents and assist with ambulation or wheelchair transport
Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary resident rooms; change bed linens and bedpans as needed
Take and record vital signs, intake/output, and daily observations
Monitor residents’ behavior, mood, and general condition, reporting significant changes to nursing staff
Transport medical equipment as required
